Creativity Is Contagious

"Creativity is contagious, pass it on." - Albert Einstein

The energy of Spring is an ideal time to rev up your best creative ideas, delve into interesting new projects, and magnetize fresh opportunities. If you have any creative projects that have been hanging around for the past year just daring you to finish them, this is also the perfect time to polish them up and call them done. Completing even one leftover project will clear out energetic space (and maybe even literal space!) to help revitalize your energy to create something new and exciting.

I’ve posted a new meditation called Your Creative Studio HERE. This fun guided imagery meditation will help you access the source of your creative spark and manifest it more easily in your life. This is a great one for developing your creativity in any area.

Mudra for Creativity

This is called the Ushas Mudra. It supports the Second Chakra, which governs creativity. Clasp your hands comfortably as shown with your fingers interlaced. For men, the right thumb rests on top of the left thumb. For women, the left thumb rests on top the right thumb. Apply a tiny bit of pressure from your dominant thumb.

Position your clasped hands over your Second Chakra – just below your belly button. Take a deep breath in. Hold for a count of 2, and exhale slowly. On the out-breath, repeat the following affirmation to yourself as you exhale. Affirmation: "I express my creativity freely, easily and joyfully." Repeat the breath pattern and affirmation three times.

Until next time – stay inspired!
