The Practical Path 2019 Year-End Wrap Up
At the close of the year, I like to take a some time to reflect on the past months. Taking stock of accomplishments, reflecting on challenges, and giving yourself a moment or two to review can be both validating and insightful. This kind of reflection is almost impossible when you’re “in the thick of it” throughout the year!
It can also be useful to give some thought to what you’d like create in the coming year with health, joy and deeper awareness.
2019 Highlights
Measuring the Accuracy of Medical Intuition: A Pilot Study
This year, we completed the first comprehensive Pilot Study on Medical Intuition with remarkable results! I couldn’t be more proud of our certified graduates who will also be part of an upcoming gold-standard study on Medical Intuition.

A big highlight of the year was participating in the Reuniting Science & Spirituality Summit, created by Consciousness & Healing Initiative (CHI) and The Shift Network. I was interviewed by the insightful Dr. Shamini Jain, alongside luminaries in healing and consciousness, such as Dr. Kenneth Pelletier, Lynne McTaggart, Dean Radin, and many more. I was truly honored this year to present talks at conferences for organizations at the forefront of integrative and holistic health. Highlights include a standing-room-only presentation at the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine (AIHM), meeting brilliant nurse leaders at the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA), soaking in the exciting atmosphere at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), making new friends at the Canadian Association for Integrative and Energy Therapies (CAIET), and an energizing keynote for the Healing Touch California Symposium (HTCA). Deep thanks and gratitude to these visionary organizations that support holistic health for all!
This year, I was blessed to present the Medical Intuition for Healing workshop at the California Institute of Integral Studies, Prebys Cardiovascular Institute at Scripps Health, and ended the year at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine with a phenomenal group of young medical doctors, residents and practitioners. We also had a terrific time at the Healing with Crystals & Gemstones Workshop at Prebys Cardiovascular Institute, as well.
The Spring Code Lavender events were a hit at several Scripps campuses this year - our amazing students knocked it out of the park with their accurate readings!
