The Practical Path 2024 Year-End Wrap Up
Happy new year to all!
Every January, I like to spend some time going over the annual goals I had set at this time last year. Taking stock of what has been accomplished, what is still in process, and what may have gotten lost in the shuffle of other priorities, helps me to review and adjust plans and priorities for the coming year.
I’m delighted to report that 2024 brought some wonderful news and great opportunities for The Practical Path.
Fourth Award for Essentials of Medical Intuition
Adding to the 2023 wins of the Nautilus Silver Award, the International Book Award (IBA), and the American Book Fest Best Book Award – Essentials of Medical Intuition: A Visionary Path to Wellness won a fourth award – the 2024 American Legacy Book Award (ALBA) in Health: Alternative Medicine!
ALBA winners are award-winning author laureates. Thousands of entries from authors and publishers around the world are narrowed down to the final results.

2024 Media, Events & Conferences
My second appearance on GAIA TV on Open Minds with Regina Meredith was a complete delight. Regina always brings deeply insightful observations and an understanding of the value of Medical Intuition that is second to none. I am truly grateful for her support.
The Energy Healing Conference in Sandy, Utah in June was great fun! I was pleased to have a packed house for my featured talk, filled with healers and clinicians eager to learn about Medical Intuition. We had two busy book signing events at our booth and met hundreds of wonderful conference attendees.
2024 brought exceptional opportunities for articles and print media, including byline articles in Energy Magazine and Today’s Practitioner, as well as interviews for Spirituality & Health and Next Avenue.
Podcasts and summits included OneMedicine Podcast, Quantum Biology Collective with Meredith Oke, the Seekers Solution Summit, and more.
The Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine 10th Annual Conference was wonderful as always. This year I went as a representative for the National Organization for Medical Intuition with NOMI Director Dr. Lloyd Costello, and Dr. Tracy Poff, NOMI Secretary, presenting our current research on Medical Intuition.
Coming up: Join us at the International Congress on Integrative Medicine & Health in March 2025!

In Memoriam
In 2024 we lost four incredible people who contributed to the field of Medical Intuition with great personal and professional dedication and passion. We are deeply grateful for their gifts and legacies.
C. Norman Shealy, MD, integrative and holistic healthcare innovator, created the groundwork for the contemporary use and understanding of Medical Intuition. His long-term collaboration with renowned medical intuitive Caroline Myss brought some of the first published research on the field to the global awareness.
Mona Lisa Schulz, MD. An internationally renowned and beloved expert in Medical Intuition and mind-body medicine, neuropsychiatrist Dr. Schulz created a bridge between medical science and medical intuitive practices.
I was truly honored to meet and interview Gladys T. McGarey, MD for my book. Co-founder of the American Holistic Medical Association, alongside Dr. Shealy, she was one of the first physicians to openly use medical intuitives in her clinic. Dr. Gladys was an inspiring presence and a tireless advocate for the integration of holistic healthcare practices that support the whole person in body, mind, and spirit.
Rev. Tiffany Barsotti, PhD was a beloved and profound presence to her friends, clients, and colleagues. A founding member of the National Organization for Medical Intuition, Tiffany brought her deep expertise as a seasoned medical intuitive to her extensive research and professional practice.
Gratitude for our Amazing Team!
I’m so grateful to our exemplary team at The Practical Path for another inspiring year! Deepest thanks to Program Coordinator Linda Negrin, Operations Manager Sarah Samson, and our wonderful TA’s Nicole Lund, LAc, CMIP, and Vanessa Hess, RPh, NBC-HWC, CMIP.
And to all of our amazing students and graduates - GO INTUITIVES!!!
Warmly,
Wendie
