Certified Practitioner Spotlight - Christine Allison, RN, BSN, Reiki Master, CHC, CMIP
Hi Christine! Tell us about your background and credentials in health and wellness!
I started my career in health and wellness at the Atlanta School of Massage in 1989. Although I learned and practiced mostly deep tissue massage, I was very drawn to the energy work part of the curriculum.
I have been able to channel and perceive energy through my hands since my early twenties. Throughout my career as a Massage Therapist, I became more and more attuned to the energy fields around my clients bodies. This led me to become trained as a Reiki Master in 2000. I integrated Reiki into my hands on work and practiced for over 20 years.
Then I became thirsty for more traditional knowledge about the human body. I went back to school and became an RN with a BSN, graduating in 2007. As an RN, I worked on the Traumatic Brain Injury unit of a Rehab Facility, and then at a pain management clinic. Additionally, I worked as an RN Field Care Manager for Humana Insurance Company and as an RN Wellness Coach for the employees of Truist Financial Corporation.
As I progressed through my nursing career, I began to long to reconnect with my energy healing ability. I tried to start a Reiki practice, but felt something was missing. At this point I was led to The Practical Path® Medical Intuitive Training™ with Wendie Colter, where I became a Certified Medical Intuitive Practitioner in 2019. This past year, I became certified as a Health and Life Coach and a Clarity Catalyst Coach. Currently I am self-employed as a Certified Medical Intuitive Practitioner and will also be offering Reiki sessions, as well as Health, Life and Clarity Catalyst Coaching.
What drew you to The Practical Path® Medical Intuitive Training™?
I was drawn to the program the first time I heard Wendie speak. She has the exceptional ability to describe and teach a system that provides a clear structure to understand and to process how to become an intuitive practitioner. I learned how to clean, protect and energize my own bioenergy field while reading and interpreting my client's bioenergy field. Wendie's passion to provide tools to integrate Medical Intuition into traditional Western medicine is contagious!
How does Medical Intuition support your professional practice?
I have learned to trust my intuitive ability to sense what my clients need to progress toward a balance of body mind and spirit, whether I am doing Reiki, working as an RN Wellness Coach or doing a Medical Intuitive reading. Medical Intuition expands the scope of conscious perception in such a way that it provides insight and clarity that was previously inaccessible. It is an amazingly valuable skill.
How does Medical Intuition support your personal life?
Wendie’s energy hygiene process has become one of the most important tools in my daily meditation practice. She has a wealth of knowledge that has personally benefited me in more ways than I can even express. Becoming a Certified Medical Intuitive Practitioner (CMIP) profoundly changed my life by giving me words to understand parts of myself that I felt, but could barely understand. It was the beginning of self discovery on a level I had no idea I would experience when I sat down for my first class.
The CMIP training expanded my understanding of what it is to be a human being by showing me how to perceive the human bioenergy field on a multidimensional level. I am so very grateful for all I have learned and have yet to experience as I continue to develop my skills.
