Certified Practitioner Spotlight - Joseph Goldfedder, BFA, MFA, LAC, CMIP

Hi Joseph! Tell us about your background and credentials in health and wellness.

My health and wellness journey began in my first year living in New Mexico when a bad head cold kept me bedridden for a week.  With my first acupuncture treatment, I felt the congestion miraculously drain from my body. I was intrigued.

Several years later I earned a MS in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque.  Currently I work as an acupuncturist in a Sports Medicine Practice alongside doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists and occupational therapists treating chronic and acute pain. I foresee a time when Medical Intuition can be included in mainstream healthcare as part of a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

What drew you to The Practical Path® Medical Intuitive Training™?

I was drawn to The Practical Path® Medical Intuitive Training™ after hearing  Wendie Colter speak during a weekend workshop on Medical Intuition and healing.  Wendie’s ability to teach concepts about energy in a systematic way, as well as to describe the process of becoming a medical intuitive, inspired me to study with her.  In the workshop she also created a fun and supportive environment for learning.

How does Medical Intuition support your professional practice?

The practice of Medical Intuition speaks to my heart because it reaches into the realm of Spirit. I use The Practical Path’s energy hygiene techniques everyday, which helps me be more present when working with patients and clients. As a Certified Medical Intuitive Practitioner, helping people get to the root cause of their issues is incredibly fulfilling work.

How does Medical Intuition support your personal life?

With the completion of my certification with The Practical Path, I have experienced an integration and expansion of my creativity. Last summer while working on a series of large scale paintings, I was guided to combine techniques of both painting and drawing in a way that felt more authentic. I really listened and moved with a joyful flow of creativity. As a result, my process of making art has become more expressive and fulfilling.  A side benefit is that Medical Intuition has also energized my meditation practice.

Is there anything else you would like to let people know?

When any self doubts arise, I remember a quote from Marianne Williamson from her book, “A Return To Love.” She explains how our deepest fear isn't that we are inadequate, but that we are “powerful beyond measure.” This helps me understand that my purpose as a medical intuitive is to let my own intuition shine through, and to help my clients do the same.
